Mike Gehring's diverse body of work worldwide has established him as a pioneering leader in the field of architectural lighting for the past fifteen years. He clearly demonstrates his understanding of the inseparable qualities of architecture and light through his award- winning projects.
Mike was the award recipient of the AIA California Allied Professionals Honor Award in 2007, recognized for his support and contribution to the practice of architectural design. He has lectured multiple times at Lightfair, the international lighting convention attended by more than 15,000 people.
As an architect and a LEEDTM accredited professional, Mike has the ability to seamlessly integrate his architectural training with his lighting design expertise.

Dave McCarroll brings an architect’s creative problem solving approach to lighting design. He constantly challenges predictable ideals, but when appropriate utilizes them. It is through this approach that Dave has been able to successfully collaborate on an array of award-winning projects globally and in alliance with internationally renowned architects.
His technical expertise acquired throughout the years has proven to be invaluable in his ability to effortlessly incorporate innovative lighting solutions in sync with the architect’s vision. He believes an exceptional space or architectural experience is the result of all design disciplines collaborating toward one common goal. This delicate balance is how he approaches all phases of the project, from conceptual lighting ideas through final completion. Martin van Koolbergen’s architectural background and his strong understanding of the technical aspects of lighting are proven in his ability and talent to create both highly designed and gracefully inconspicuous lighting designs. Martin’s diversified skills encourage the design and implementation of elegant and compelling spaces. He is a firm believer that lighting enhances the architecture. Martin’s principles within the office have inspired and motivated other lighting designers who can relate to his philosophies on design, energy conservation and technology. His knowledge of the energy codes and environmental conditions has put him in the forefront of residential lighting design.
